    Friday, September 23, 2022 at 9 p.m.: Robin McKelle
After 7 critically acclaimed albums, Robin McKelle chooses to cover songs exclusively composed or popularized by female composers. She signs here a vibrant manifesto whose scope extends well beyond her time. From Billie Holiday to Amy Winehouse, the American singer merges many genres, through the strength and grace of her contralto voice, sometimes suave and sensitive, sometimes rough, she decontextualizes the pieces from their original setting and restores them in a sensitive musical idiom that fuses jazz, soul, rhythm'n blues, blues and rock.

Saturday September 24 at 9 p.m.: Belmondo Quintet
Flamboyant heir to Chet Baker and Freddie Hubbard, Stéphane is one of the most esteemed trumpeters on this side of the Atlantic. A tireless craftsman of bringing music together, Lionel the saxophonist brought together the souls of Lili Boulanger and Yusef Lateef, reconciling the Coltranian spirit with French liturgical traditions. "Brotherhood" is placed under the seal of brotherhood, family and musical. Entirely made up of new compositions, this opus activates the memory of those who preceded and inspired the Belmondo brothers, without getting lost in nostalgia.
