International Environmental Film Festival

On the occasion of the International Environmental Film Festival, the Natural History Museum is joining forces with the CGR Paris and Gilles Béchard of the Tarn et Garonne Natural Sciences Society to offer a film-debate evening around the film “The factory of pandemics”.

For two years, in the midst of the COVID pandemic, Marie-Monique Robin traveled eight countries to make this documentary on the factors of the emergence of infectious diseases. For the scientists questioned by the director, the diagnosis is clear: environmental upheavals are the major causes.

Several scientists deliver their thoughts on the subject throughout the film from the Grand Gallery of the Paris Natural History Museum to Madagascar, via Mexico, Gabon, Thailand, Kenya: all territories rich in exceptional but threatened biodiversity.

Tuesday September 26 at 8 p.m. at the Cinéma CGR le Paris. Single price at 6.20 euros.
