Generation 80, a new horizon for dance:
The birth of French contemporary dance is dated to the early 1980s. With
artists like Dominique Bagouet, Jean-Claude Galotta, Régine Chapinot, Daniel Larrieu, Angelin Preljocaj… we are witnessing an explosion of movements, sensations, colors, desires, with for each a unique universe and writing. This exhibition pays tribute to these choreographers and to the various witnesses of this period, photographers and critics. An aesthetic stroll to the sources of French contemporary dance.
Opening of the exhibition on March 5 at 6:30 p.m. On the occasion of the opening, Pedro Pauwels,
dancer and choreographer from the PePau company, curator of the exhibition, will perform his performance “Chameleon Solo”.

    DANCE MOMENTS:
Tarn-et-Garonne Arts & Culture partners with the department’s programmers for you
propose from March 1 to May 3 a biennial event around dance: Moments Danse. Dance sometimes keeps us at a distance. We think it is inaccessible, complex, even elitist... even though it speaks directly to our body and our feelings, and it
can move us deeply. Whether you are amateurs or simply curious, Moments Danse offer you the unique opportunity to (re)immerse yourself in all the richness of this discipline. For this edition, you will be able to discover an exhibition, a conference and 12 shows in the municipalities of Beaumont-de-Lomagne, Bioule, Castelsarrasin, Coutures, Ginals (Beaulieu Abbey), Montauban, Saint-Antonin-Noble-Val and Villebrumier. From hip-hop to flamenco, from oriental dance to contemporary dance, you will have something for
all tastes and all ages (Feuilles show from 18 months).
Find all of the programming supported by Tarn-et-Garonne Arts & Culture and our partners on our site (www.tgac.fr).
