Paris, in the 19th century. A group of penniless students rely on the joys of life to brighten up their miserable daily life. The tenderness of the little seamstress Mimi brings light and warmth to the poet Rodolfo, both passionately live their love at first sight. But the poverty in which they live leads to Mimi's death, which Rodolfo and his friends watch helplessly.
