After scouring concert halls with their first punk rock band Zéro de Conduite for almost 10 years, Guillaume and Johan created Blankass, a new very electric band calibrated for the stage. The Zero driving adventure allows them to cross paths with rock monsters and share the stage with artists such as The Clash, The Gun Club, Serge Gainsbourg or U2, for whom they opened when they had no only 10 and 12 years old. No doubt after such experiences, their life will be on stage.
BLANKASS therefore arrives on the French and European stages with a first eponymous album in 1995, carried by the flagship title entitled “La Couleur des Blés”, an anthem that electrifies the crowds at each concert. As soon as they arrived in the musical landscape, the group was nominated for the Victoire de la Musique in the “Best Group” and “Best Revelation Artist” categories. Discovering them on stage leaves no doubt!
With each album then, the group goes on tour again, with new titles such as “Pas des Chiens”, “Rendez-vous”, “Tired”, the rooms are full, the concerts follow one another…. BLANKASS is more than 500,000 records sold to date, 6 studio albums, 1 best of, 1 live and above all more than 1,000 concerts in France and abroad.
Then comes the time of long weeks of numbness due to confinement... And the two brothers get back to work, to writing... Despite a fascinating and time-consuming parallel passion, (Guillaume, recognized painter and Johan, television enthusiast of antiques ), from sketches to models, the album will take a little less than two years to see the light of day.
And here we are in front of the object: "If possible happy" is the 7th studio album of the Ledoux brothers. A warm, modern, pop and optimistic album. A friends album too. Like the title song, a duet with the next generation, Gauvain Sers, who has not forgotten that with Renaud, for him, there was also BLANKASS. Delicious pop jewel declining aging, accomplishment and pleasure. Other friends of the band: Stephan Eicher who poses his old punk voice (also) and Vianney.
Friends therefore, an analog production signed by the wizard Dave Eringa, but more than anything great songs!!!

THE IDIOTS
Idiots make acoustic songs with bits of rock in them. The scratched voice recounts scratches, moments of life, little bits of joyful death. We meet on the road of idiots a big boss who takes the plane, a drunken dog who is bored, garden gnomes in leather jackets, happy loves, radiant mistresses… life what! Tom Waits flirts with Amélie Poulain and they remake the world over a glass of Madiran.
