    Most of the time, the typical "tribute band" copies the original completely. Stage play, lighting, dress, he closely respects the glorious elder, to the point that Peter Gabriel himself takes his children to the concerts of the Genesis substitutes to show them "how dad was doing at the time."

    At Blond Neil Young, the only reminiscent of the "Loner" are the sideburns that Stéphane Louvain, the instigator of the project, sports. For the rest, no frills but an affectionate and respectful tribute to the repertoire of the Canadian musician. The songs are not revisited, but played as they were composed.

    Singer-guitarist with The Little Rabbits and French Cowboy, musician for Katerine and Jeanne Cherhal, Stéphane Louvain tackled the work of Neil Young in November 2012. First alone, in a fan's way, then very quickly surrounded by a group recruited from several formations of the Nantes and Rennes scene (French Cowboy, Al Von Stramm, Tiny Scalp, Santa Cruz, Rock Roll & Remember).

    From Zuma to Harvest, via After the Gold Rush, Comes a Time or Everybody knows this is nowhere, the group brings together musical nuggets in a show full of anecdotes on the life of the native of Toronto and the history of his songs. . {by Sylvain Chantal}
