- Sixty years ago, in 1958, Louis Armstrong's famous "The Good Book" was released in Europe, dedicated to a selection of traditional Spirituals and Gospel Songs performed with the help of a vocal ensemble. In line with the male groups who have taken over these titles and this repertoire, such as the Golden Gate Quartet, the Jordan Companions or the Riverside Singers, Jean-Paul Finck and his Swing Low Quintet would like to trace the cultural and musical itinerary today. and spiritual, which has led Gospel Music to the worldwide success it has known since that time. The Swing Low Quintet performs regularly in Belgium, Germany, Switzerland, and France at internationally renowned Gospel Festivals. In 2019, the ensemble will perform on tour in the South-East of France, as part of Gospel Heritage with four gospel choirs directed by Jean-Paul Finck.
