  • Knowledge of the world. In the presence of Guilhem Mahieu, author. The film SPAIN Deserts and men The desert is multiple and closer than one imagines. In Spain, great human creativity has made it possible to adapt civilized life to the most extreme conditions. The film crosses Spain from south to north and shows how men have taken advantage of the specificity of each desert: the Canary Islands where the rocks of the volcanic desert allow viticulture and where the volcano Teide remains a real door towards the stars; the Ordessa National Park in the Pyrenees, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, passing through the Tabernas Desert in Andalusia, which has served as a giant cinema studio and currently has one of the largest solar platforms in the world.
