- Conference by Laurent Grimbert, archaeologist at INRAP. In March 2018, the Inrap (National Institute of Preventive Archaeological Research) conducted an archaeological diagnosis of the Place Nationale, the economic heart of the city since its foundation. Laurent Grimbert, archaeologist at Inrap, will present the result of this project which has allowed to update impressive remains. Developments related to the Common House and more tenuous structures (wells, soils) some of which appear on a representation of the square in the middle of the 17th century, were found. More surprising, the discovery north of the cellars seemingly associated with butchering activities whose texts make little mention.
