Leaving one's city to come and live in another, sometimes thousands of kilometers away, is a strong act. Search for a more comfortable life, flight from a country at war, political or climatic exile, follow-up of the loved one or simple desire to discover, the motivations for this geographic and sometimes cultural uprooting are multiple. The first steps in the new adopted city invite each time to take a fresh look at its new environment. The project "My shared city" thus questions Montalbanese adopters, who settled 50 years ago, 20 years ago or even last year: what were their impressions when they arrived here? What have they left behind? These testimonies are accompanied by words from residents, born in the city of Ingres, thus sketching a portrait of our city. Eyes meet, establishing bridges between Montauban and elsewhere near or far. Opening party at La Comète. Inauguration of the exhibition at La Comète, music, shared meal. September 18 at 5 p.m. Exhibition at the Comet from September 18 to October 10.
