Exhibition / Masques en scène

Exhibition at Montauban

17.06.2019 au 30.06.2019 Masques en scènes.jpg
  • Exhibition of masks and figures by L'Arche Noah / Cie Guillaume Lagnel, presented by Espace Bourdelle Sculpture. This creation was partly realized in Montauban during the residence "Carthage, the memory of the sands". Carthage was definitively destroyed in 146 BC by Rome. It will remain in ruins more than a century before being reborn under the Empire. This exhibition evokes the transmigration of Punic souls, the passage of souls and memories of the disappeared, their wanderings after the destruction of Carthage. "The retranscription of Punic masks or glass-scale pendants on a human scale, in their brilliant colors, their incarnation by actors, are an unprecedented fact and mark a first renaissance of these protectors of the Carthaginian soul. Animated by this breath, they now join the universal repertoire of masked characters in the theater. »Guillaume Lagnel> Tuesday, June 18th at 6:30 pm at La petite comédie: Opening of the exhibition and meeting with Guillaume Lagnel with Espace Bourdelle Sculpture. Event proposed as part of the 2019 Sculpture Festival "Passage (s)" organized by Espace Bourdelle Sculpture in Montauban.
