  • The "Low Gender" dance conference is an interactive way of denouncing gender issues in the form of a round-trip between the audience, the dance and a sound medium. In this tripartite relationship, artists question the public for a specific purpose: to create the idea that our vision of the feminine and the masculine is only a social vision of the sexes following a "grammar" that we have been told imposed. Two themes of asymmetrical treatment of female and male bodies will be discussed: the social construction of the female body through its restrictive constraints and the exploitation of women's work as to the differentiation of tasks. "Poor sex" was created to question, provoke and gather around a hope, that one day, the woman is considered the equal of the man. >>> Free admission within the limits of available places
