- Between the end of the Second World War and contemporary times, French society has experienced many changes. The evolution of cultural practices reflects this while affirming the persistence of common elements. Far from being opposed, the generation of baby boomers and generations X, Y and Z of today complement each other, united by the link of transmission, between memory and innovation. The 1970s illustrate an era rich in technological innovations, but still marked by the lifestyles of the early twentieth century. At the start of the 21st century, an increased awareness of environmental issues is emerging. This exhibition offers a playful reflection, between vintage spirit and modernity, on the evolution of the world and practices, through the mirroring of two apartments representative of the French middle class of each era, revealing the practices of everyday life: eating , living together, communicating, being informed, having fun ... The visitor will live an immersive experience, promoting meeting and transcultural and transgenerational exchange.
